George Steinbrenner is jewish, as is Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman, Yankees President Randy Levine, and Steinbrenner's ex-son-in-law and heir apparent to the throne of Yankees Owner, Steve Swindal.

What does this have to do with languages?

I take it you've never, ever in your life heard of a Jewish German. Nationality and religion are not mutually exclusive.

I don't know Steinbrenner's religion, but he's an American.
