I don't know why you are asking this. LDS.org is the official website of the Church and you can find out about much of the humanitarian effort the Church is giving. There is no personal gain for the Church leaders that serve the people of the world. Their motives are genuine. There is no guile or ulterior motives. There would be no purpose in doing good for some hidden agenda. I agree with Kerry, by their fruits ye shall know them. If they have love one for another, then are they His disciples indeed. I submit that they are as they say they are, apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ, true disciples that care for their fellow beings.

The scriptures say, "By their fruits ye shall know them. Matthew 7:20. The works of the LDS Apostles are their fruits and they are serving God with all of their heart, might, mind and souls.

There is no deception in urging true disciples of Jesus Christ to be more aware of the needy in this world and counselling the faithful to give more of their abundance.

"lds.org" isn't a humanitarian service, it's a church website, so technically you're deceiving people.
