What I mean by "peaceful death" is having no distress about eternal destiny. My father had a close call with death 21 months before he actually died and had absolutely no concern about eternity(never has) from then until hi death. When he passed away, he went peacefully. He had always rebuffed my efforts to proslytize him. I now have serious doubts about Hellfire. I am still a Christian, but have considered belief in reincarnation even more lately.

My father also died a firm non-believer. In fact, on what we thought was his death-bed, a man of the cloth asked him whether he (my dad) had found Jesus? Dad's response was "I didn't know he was lost" after which he explained that his whole life was lived as a freethinker, and that he wasn't gonna turn to religion now that he was dying. Just because someone dies peacefully does not mean that he won't experience the absence of Christ and His eternal paradise aka Hell. Don't let doubt come into your mind and heart. You know the truth, as hard as it seems, that your father may be in eternal damnation, it is still the truth. You tried your best, the rest was up to him. :(

I'm afraid not; my belief in hell comes from the Bible not my experience. Whilst I may not like the idea of eternal damnation I have no reason to doubt the Bible.

When we are dieing we do not see Hell till after death is complete,so unbeliever,s could die peaceful here but
their soul will know it is in Hell.

A person who is not a believer may go peacefully because they don't realize what they've turned their back on. Reincarnation is not the answer. God doesn't "re-cycle" souls. Jesus is the Way. The only way. Pray for your father's soul. The Bible tells us to pray for the dead. Blessings!
