I think this would fall under "If they don't ask, you don't tell." If they do ask, tell the whole truth. If you don't you will regret it later down the road.

Well they will evaluate u for ur mental capacity if u have had a history of inflicting self body injury on yourself n how long ago u did this comes into question as well.
That does not mean they will refuse u both it does open the door for them to make a serious determination on ur fitness to join the military keep that in mind OK.

probably. If there are medical records, you will be required to produce them. if there aren't you will be asked about the scars. Lie about it, and you WILL get caught and you will be discharged with a fraudulent enlistment. and yes, the MEPS doctors know the difference between self mutilation and an accident.

If you don't do what a soldier of mine did when she was inm we use to use razor blades to cut up the film to make copies to make the plates for the press, until we had machines that did that job for us, well a female soldier took one of them and cut herself and the ambulence came and she got the help she wanted. Sooner or later they will notice and you will have to get a psyche eval, talk to the chaplin, talk to a counseler, you won't be allowed on the ranges, your PLT SGT will have to stalk you, ect. Thats what you will have to face.

Is on on record that you did it? If not they may not even care, The military is so hard up for people they MIGHT not even care either way. A few of my buddies are recruiters and they say just about any one can get in with a waiver now-a-days.

No outright, but self inflicted will subject you to a evaluation.
