Without reducing the dosage or discontinuing the treatment. Also, what will happen to me if my liver enzymes were to raise for the whole course of treatment (6 months)? The levels were high but still acceptable (like about 120).

I can't answer the liver question, but I thought I'd just warn you to be very careful taking Accutane. I took it a few years and suffered from severe depression as a side-effect. Apparently this is very common, but seldom addressed by the prescribing doctor.

The elevated liver enzymes indicate the accutane is DAMAGING your liver!

You may want to find a doctor that will work with you to find and fix the CAUSE of your acne, rather than treating just the symptom of acne with this very dangerous drug.
