I'm preparing myself for some holiday parties and I want to be ready if someone question me about my uniform. Should I use the call sign ICE or Viper? only f16 pilots or the new f22 raptor.

1) It depends entirely on what you will be flying.
2) UPT - Undergraduate Pilot Training - is for everyone, regardless of which track you are chosen to pursue
3) Where you train is entirely dependent on which track you are chosen to pursue
4) The length is typically 1 full year of pilot training: Phase 1 is in-class training. Phase 2 is Primary Aircraft Training, then comes the track selection process, then Phase 3 is Advanced Aircraft Training.
5) You don't get to choose your call sign. Your instructors choose it for you.
