Honey, no one can really tell you until you see a doc. I recommend doing that sooner than later. If you end up taking medication, it is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL that you take it every day, exactly how it's prescribed. You're so young--if you get an accurate diagnosis and treatment now, regardless of your problem, you life will only get better.

u really need to tell your parents, and if you can't do that you can tell an adult that u know that u can trust either at your school or your church. These are not things that you have to deal with alone! There are alot of things that can be done to help you feel better on a more consistent basis. I have worked in the medical field for 14 years and have seen alot of these same symptoms in all types of people young and old boys and girls, so whatever u do don't think u are alone or that there is anything wrong with u that can't be fixed. It is a very fixable thing you have going on, just be sure u tell an adult that u trust.

actually alot of people dont know this but you can have adhd and biploar when u have bipolar its like ur emotions are on a rollercoaster for a few days or even wks u can be depressed the biggest sign of mania (the high side of bipolar)is when you have all kinds of enery even without sleep without my meds when im manic have stayed up for a week and was still going and sometimes i would jus get 30 min -1hr asleep a night and be able to go a whole month with all kinds of energy another is if u have these dumb but really brilliant ideas of things to do and even though u dont want to really do them u will its like u cant resist even if it means trouble

I am bipolar and it took 23 years for me to be diagnosed. That was my fault, as with many bipolars I refused to see I had a problem, and I was running on self destruct for all those years. It becomes the norm for us so we don't see it as a problem and you don't see the pain, hurt and anguish you are causing the ones who love you.
I think mine started at 14 and I am know 37 and have only in this last 3 months got my diagnosis.
Its a difficult one to call some can have Bipolar at 14 and it is never a problem for them others can have it and its not dealt with so it goes on and on and gets worse and worse. My advice hunny, go to the DR tell him EXACTLY what you are feeling and how this effects your daily life. Do not be trapped in world for many years that makes you and others around you miserable. There is help out there.

How depressed do you get and how long does it last? Does it ever last for months at a time? Do you feel so bad you think about suicide? Do you feel so bad it keeps you from getting your normal work done? If so, you might want to see a doctor.

The other things you mention don't sound like any kind of problem to me.

One of the worst thing of biopolar is spending out recklessly and destroy everything. A biopolar is financially broke and he makes family suffer financially. So may be you have not such disorder.
