i wrote last night about my son's eczema and his vomitting at least twice a week i think he has an allergy to the dog maybe? this morning he got out of bed and he has a rash on his face and on his ears, they are red spots slightly rasied and getting more making them close together, he seems fine in himself apart from gurny probably due to getting up earlier than usual this morning but he seems normal apart from that is there any common rashes that infants get on their faces. im almost positive it isnt a heat rash, and is there any cream i can use on the spots? any help appreciated thanks.

it could be a number of things-new washing powder or soap, a new food, fur allergy, etc. my daughter suffered with a really nasty rash when she was tiny and i never found out what it was but aqueous cream got rid of it.if he's in any pain or discomfort or the rash looks really angry take him to your gp.

Sounds like hives...my son JUST had this and we rushed him to the doc b/c we had no idea what it was! I say hives b/c that's how they start....little raised bumps that spread. If it is hives, then Benadryl is what he should take. But you should get him into the doc and have it checked just to be sure.
