Christ's witch...you need to pick your bible up and read it some more before you answer a question like this again-it does say there will be no more night.

You are right about the new earth, but it does say there will be no more night...so that would mean one long, continuous day.

David S, your response has me baffled...there are going to be humans there (heaven or the new earth) that are over other humans? Why?

This is where the bible is confusing for me.
In one area it states that when Jesus comes back he will cleanse the earth of evil, raise the souls of the good and make them as they were before, their will be peace throughout the world, His reign on earth will be of a 1000 yrs and then He will bring them unto heaven to join Him and rejoice in the light of eternity. But nowhere does it describe how it will be in heaven but only for those of the rightous, for the rest of us, what will there be. We read from old and new testaments and in the old it states He will be there to welcome us unto his kingdom and take care of us as His children, but in the new testament it states He will cleanse us and bring us unto his kingdom of eternal light and will bless those that are rightous in HIS eyes. So, are there going to be those who will be rewarded better than the rest? Are those of us that are not "saint" like be given lesser accomodations but still be able to not want for anything? It states that will spend our days in reverence of God and Holy worship, to rejoice in His name for all eternity, is that all there is? Worshipping a deity and making him happy for all eternity but yet never be hungry, sick, tired, or sad and just so we can continue to do that for all eternity. Everyone has their own opinions of what the afterlife will be but if they go by the Christian bible standards, is this what is to be?
I believe this is what the Christian heaven will be by the bible statements.
Blessed be and Peace

Don't worry about being bored in heaven. The Bible clearly says that there will be pleasures for eternity (Psalm 16:11). Many people think that we will be ghosts who float on clouds and do nothing but play harps all eternity. But the Bible says that real people will do real things in heaven. We will:

(a) Design and build our own dream house (Isaiah 65:21,22). (b) Travel and explore without ever becoming weary (Isaiah 40:31).
(c) Visit with loved ones, patriarchs, prophets, etc. (Matthew 8:11).
(d) Worship before God's throne every Sabbath (Isaiah 66:22,23).
(e) Sing and play heavenly music (Isaiah 35:10; 51:11; Psalm 87:7; Revelation 14:2,3).
(f) Study the animals of heaven (Isaiah 11:6-9; 65:25).
(g) Listen to God sing (Zephaniah 3:17).
(h) Realize fondest ambitions (Psalm 37:3,4; Isaiah 65:24).
(i) Greatest joy of all -- the privilege of being like Jesus, traveling with Him, and seeing Him face to face (Revelation 14:4; 22:4; 21:3; 1 John 3:2).

The Bible also has a lot to say about the heavenly city; for example, it is 1,500 miles by 1,500 miles (Revelation 12:16) Click on the link below for more information.

Don't you know that Heaven will be much like it is now except there will be no evil.....there will still be communities, animals trees and a life long time of Great creativity....except no evil.....We will be kind to one another and enjoy our own vineyards and learn the ways of the Lord.......I believe we will be constantly evolving spiritually to the point where we will get other duties as we progress through the eternity.......Remember heaven is just a rejuvenated earth......a kind of Utopia society......is that bad.....I don't think so.....I believe all Peoples in the world strive for such joy......But many mock what they don't understand.......One on the most powerful words of Christ that i know.....It was during his Crucifixion..........He said forgive them father for they know not what they do.....''.Many people fit in that category today.....I'm wondering if ignorance that is unintentional will be given some type of mercy in the Millinium reign for some of those that never understood the Love of Christ.

You are looking at life in the future with today's eyes but life in the future is beyond what the human mind can understand. The earth will not have gone as God said I will make a new Heaven and New Earth. I suspect we will have plenty to do and our thinking will not be the same as it is today. No longer will we be tempted by evil we will finally have the love for God he wanted when he first created man.

Many humans suppose that God is at fault for the whole thing that occurs on the planet. Matthew four:eight-eleven says Satan tempted Jesus with the Kingdoms of the World for one act of worship to him. If the Kingdoms of the World belonged to God, Satan could no longer be in a position to present them to Jesus. Truth of the problem is, God presents men and women some thing that Satan cannot. a million) Life unfastened from struggle (Isaiah two:four, Psalms forty six:nine,10) two) Ample meals (Psalms seventy two:6) three) Housing (Isaiah sixty five:21) four) Employment (Isaiah sixty five:22) five) Life with out health problem (Revelation 21:three-four) 6) Justice and Freedom from prejudice (Isaiah nine:7, eleven:three-five) 7) Security (Micah four:four, Proverbs two:22). God does not deliver unforsceen occurances on us...Humans and Satan do it to themselves.

Heaven is not eternal, but only a staging place, we will live on this earth. Revelation19:11-14 shows Christ & his Bride coming back to this earth to rule & reign for 1000 yrs, after that this earth will be like it was in the garden of eden before the fall. We will live eternally on this earth.

Well, we won't be in "heaven" for long...Jesus said He was going to prepare a place for us..a new heaven and a new earth. Remember back when you were a little kid on a nature walk or at the petting zoo, star gazing, wading around in stream, run and not grow weary? Gonna be like that...only much more to see and explore and we get to do so with our God watching over us. Love in Christ, ~J~

Well Mr. Timbers:
Although a good question, your first comment is a tad inaccurate.
Christians don't go to heaven.
Yes, I know, thousands (if not millions) of people calling themselves 'christian' think they are going there.
They are laboring under a misconception.
They have made the mistake of believing their pastors instead of the Bible.
The 2 are polar opposites.
Please note Psalm 37:29
"The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it."
WHERE was that again?

Earth is but a shadow of heaven...who knows what missions and experiences God has for us then...they will likely be amazing....the settings will be breathtaking...the love of the Father will be neverending!

The bible says we will proclaim His excellencies.

By the way, we are all sinners, deserving Hell. Those in Hell are those who chose not to believe.
