Andy Gray had long gone by the time Villa won the European Cup. He did win the Cup Winners' Cup with Everton though. Ken McNaught, Des Bremner and Allan Evans were Villa's Scots when they beat Bayern Munich in the 1982 European Cup Final.

Frank Gray, Kenny Burns, John McGovern, John Robertson and John O'Hare played some part in one or both of Forest's successes.

Hansen, Dalglish, Souness, Nicol and Gillespie all won it at Liverpool (Gillespie was an unused sub).

All of Celtic's 1967 team were Scots.

Pat Crerand (Man U) and Paul Lambert (Borussia Dortmund) complete the list. Denis Law didn't play in the '68 final
