I would not and do not refuse to read them however think that people ought to write using proper English. "Text speak" is only for texting on your mobile so should not be used elsewhere especially not when writing for a general audience.

I will read internet abreviations, like pwn and stuff, but this is not text land, we have a full sized keyboard, use it.

Many people can't keep up with terribly improper writing. Txt mssg writing is usually for those who can't write at a 5th grade level.
