Toyota 4Runner or Landcruiser. Both have 4 seats, large storage, good for paved or unpaved road (2WD/4WD) and good safety (Toyota..).
And they both have good clearance under the vehicle for the times when you do go off road. I also like the Suburu Outback, but that vehicle won't get you far on rough roads. No clearance.

it would definately be a Jeep, via fact Jeep created "off-roading" decrease back in WW2. in all probability a 2006 Wrangler countless Rubicon. Icontinual a 2005 Wrangler countless 2-door and that i like the better area. additionally i'd opt for to have any between the WW2 jeeps restored. Or in all probability a Jeep CJ-8, Grand Wagoneer, Commanche, or a minimum of an older variety CJ. i'd additionally be pleased with a CJ-7 or maybe an older Cherokee. whether i'm a splash uneasy with regard to the hot JK, i'd be pleased with a sparkling one too. Jeeps are impressive, and no different variety could have the innovations-blowing to call their imitations "off-street autos."

Do have a look at the Nissan range of the X-Trial. I have enjoyed one since January of this year. They are not cheap but quality is not cheap. They are easily converted from two to four wheel drive, if necessary automatically. The seating is so comfortable, there are many variations for you to choose from. I have not been able to fault mine and its my 6th or 7th Nissan. I'm not in the game and have been retired twenty years

there are allot of choices out there, just about all of the makes have a vehicle that will fit your description. How long are you planning to keep it and how many miles will you drive in a year? do you need towing capabilities? I can help with the negotiation of the price of any make and model, anywhere.
