They are another day, to live, like every other day. The fact that most people see weekends as better only demonstrates that they are wasting much of their lives.

As a priest, Monday was always officially my day off (sometimes more of a joke than a reality, 24/7 is the nature of the calling). I don't watch TV so there're no programs I look forward to, and the mail will always be there whenever I choose to go down and collect it. I guess what is really good about Mondays is that another week begins, and Monday is your day.

Monday is the first day after being in the presence of the Holy Father. It is our opportunity to affect others as God would want us to. To reach out with a kind word or smile. When I was working for BV&S, the best law firm in Santa Cruz, California, I liked my job so well that I looked forward to Mondays. Now I see it as the day the mail will come after not having any yesterday, so maybe my package will arrive.
My biggest thrill these days is when the mail comes. Pitiful, ain't it?

Its the first day of the work week, and as I have an awesome job I am happy to be getting ready to go to work!
(have my own gardening business and its lovely weather here so planting pansies and bulbs and doing a big clean up at someones house today... make beautiful and pleasant for the folks to enjoy, work with my husband and have three of the sweetest employees who work for/with me. )
God is good, all the time!

Its my "friday"... the last day of work before I get two days off.
Heroes on NBC airs tonight.
I get to attend school campus this morning... first day of the school week. A fun time, friends... social experiences... girls!
And this is the only day of week I get to see a girl that I work with that I like.
