God says why...it is not a mystery....stupid people worshiping things made out of sticks and stones and other false things makes him angry..this worship belongs to him.
analogy - would you get justifiably angry if your spouse was with another person?

Yahweh is "jealous" toward His bride. His bride is exclusively the true physical genetic stock Israylites. That is not these things calling themselves 'jews', www.jewishencyclopedia.com under article 'chazar'.
The 'jealous' character is simply Him expressing his love for His bride BECAUSE SHE IS BEING A WHORE by adopting paganism. ALSO, basically ALL other religions are really just sex worship, "groves", "oblisks", "prayer towers", "steeples", the "cross", ALL, and more are simply penis symbols. It goes back to the garden where the Adversary possessed the BEAST of the field (another race other than ADAM kind) and through it took the virginity of Eve, producing Cain, 2 COr. 11. Therefore the war continues, and the DOMINION promised to Adam in Gen. 1:28 is to be FINALLY brought to fruition at the return of Yahshua the Messiah soon. That is what the glad tidings of the Kingdom is all about....the Dominion of the King, the Dominion promised to Adam kind. Billion will die soon enough and one reason is, Yahweh IS JEALOUS. There is one universal spiritual force that binds the universe together as one. But people can create many intermediary spirits, to help one connect to this force. When a lot of people believe in a certain image of God, that image comes alive in spirit in the spiritual realm, to be used as a means to connect with God. God is a good and very moral God, and is not jealous. God want people to connect to him, any way that works. Differing ways of connecting with God, will vary in their effectiveness, depending on how these intermediaries properly represent God's qualities.

Because He wants the best for mankind. It's His love for us that creates His jealousy and He has every right to love and be jealous for His creation. He loyally loves and provides a better way for man, yet man strays to his own created gods for help. Only the true and living God, Jehovah, can meet the needs of man whether man recognizes that or not. He, and only He, has our best interest at heart. His fear is that we destroy ourselves with bad decisions.

How would you feel if you had a child and that child called somebody else "daddy"? Wouldnt you be jealous? Same thing with God. Except the "daddy's" are false gods made from rocks,stones,etc.

hahaha...good question, i think that whoever decided it was a good idea to write the bible figured they had to control the masses in some way, so they just put in all these rules to help people stay in line and keep them coming to the christian church for all their answers...and also so that they would give them all their money and whatnot...its all a control issue really

God is number one, numero una, the king Kahuna....A false idol, in my opinion is Jesus, crosses, rosary beads, Buddahs, Popes, money,.....When we lose sight of God and invest our minds in arguing over this and that, we lose sight of what's real. God just wants us to care for one another and to try and find some inner peace. It's just that simple....

You can make anything a "god" or "idol" in your life - work, family, sex, food, money, fame, power, drugs, alcohol.
Just keep Him first and you should be OK.
