read the Quran, and discover the answers yourself.

the Quran teaching violence is one of the absurdest stories anti-islamists have ever spread, and one which, sadly, many ignorant ppl seem to believe.
i trust u are not one of them, and therefore i'd advise u to check out this amazing book for yourself, and i can guarantee u'll agree with me that no, the Quran does NOT tell its followers to kill people of different faiths, quite the opposite in fact. did u know that Islam stresses on peace? do u think the holy book of such a religion would encourage viloence? islam urges muslims to co-exist peacefully, and to attack only in self defence...

No religion teaches its follower to be a terrorist. And Islam is the most peace loving religion. Study Islam first and when you find any difficulty in understanding then contact any Islamic scholar.

I agree there are many terrorists who are muslims, and we all hate them. We do not even call them Muslims because our Islam doesn't allow that. And when these extremists make such attacks, they are no more Muslims in my view. Bad n good are every where. But the impression of Islam is getting ruined by the terrorists and I highly Protest~!

That's like asking if Christianity teaches it's adherents to be snake dancers. The answer is some do and some don't. The Wahabist sect of Islam does. Unfortunately it is a well funded portion of Islam. Most sects do not.

IN a general sense, no. Certain sects of Islam are extremist (there are extremist Christian sects as well) and interpret the Koran in a very militant manner. But as a general rule, no.

Not anymore than Christians generally are Republican and believe in wars. That's teaching hate, terrorism, amongst other things to our children. I can't imagine loving and trusting a god with that kind of mindset, can you?

No, jihadist Muslim leaders are in the minority and they misinterpret the Qur'an. Most Muslims are ordinary people who just want to raise their families and live in peace.
