Your refering to this verse:
1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
Jesus is NOT michael the archangel. Michael is an angel, Jesus christ is God
and second, it goes against this verse:
Jude 1:9
But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"
Michael cant rebuke satan. But Jesus rebuked satan when he was being tempted while fasting. Two different individuals, Their not the same.
[ Well, I killed that argument quite nicely, dont you think?]

Jesus and Michael are two different beings....Jesus, the Son of God and Michael the archangel is a created being by God. There are however, several times in the scripture that Jesus appears to man as an angel, and is referred to as the Angle of Light, etc. It is more descriptive than literal. You can look up the word "angel" in the concordance at the back of your Bible and follow the references to these remarks.

A clarification is needed here, some one mentioned Mormons believe Jesus was the archangel Michael, this is not true. We understand Adam was Michael the archangel.
D&C 107: 54
54 And the Lord appeared unto them, and they rose up and blessed Adam, and called him Michael, the prince, the archangel.
See the second link in my source list for a really good list of where angles are spoken of in the scriptures, with links directly to the verses.

Absolutely nowhere.
JWs believe Jesus is an archangel Michael. Mormons also believe He is an angel. Cults.

There is no answer from a Witness, but I will check back to see where that scripture is. If a faith believes Jesus to be an angel; I personally don't think that qualifies that faith to be a cult. There is confusion in Y/A R&S on what "cults" are.
