If you are flying the same airline the whole way you definately will be. If you are switching airlines and planes there is a chance you might not be questioned - but even that is not likely. Most likely you will be questioned prior to your first flight because of your ultimate destination. Why would this concern you I would wonder however.

Good luck!!!

If you are flying with ELAL you will be questioned when you depart for Israel from Amsterdam. You will probably be asked a few questions but I would think that their security people are also quietly observing all the passengers also, prior to take off.

In my experience, ELAL staff are always polite and never offensive with any questioning. This airline is always my first choice when going to Israel.

You will probably be questioned prior to boarding for both sectors.

Security's the name of the game these days - no matter where you are going. And travel directly or indirectly to Israel from anywhere is no less nor more dangerous than is travel to any other destination.

Don't worry, though. As long as you're not trying to do anything dangerous or illegal, you'll manage just fine.

Hi there, I always have to fly to Tel Aviv via Madrid.
My first flight from Las Palmas to Madrid is with any regular Spanish airline and they do not ask me anything, as I issue just the ticket to go to Madrid.
In Madrid I collect my luggage and do the check in with El Al to fly to Tel Aviv and there I am always questioned.
El Al in Madrid has a separate department for their flights to Israel in the cellar (you have to go with a lift together with your luggage and they everything there...)
I know from friends who purchased connection flights with the same airline from Las Palmas to Tel Aviv that they were questioned first in Las Palmas at Iberia check - in and afterwards it was again a security check in Madrid...
But I personally don’t know, as I always fly with El Al, the reason is, that I do trust their security checks and I prefer being double checked before boarding, because I know they check everybody the same way, so everybody will be safe in the aircraft and relaxed during the flight...
I have seen security checks in all Spanish airlines and many European airlines and I can say, that they are not safe at all, as nobody takes his time.
I trust in El Al…

You will be questioned prior if your ultimate destination is Israel.
Then questioned upon arrival as to the purpose of your visit which is standard anywhere you go outside of your home country.
