Doubt in and of itself is the force of entropy on belief. It is no sort of instant invalidation... but it will gradually chip away at belief until little or none remains.
Just as well really... as belief in things is the construction of walls around ourselves. They're pretty, but ultimately they only serve to cage us in.

All thinking minds will question.
All questions eventually lead to doubt.
All doubt ultimately leads to Nihilism.

Given enough time, everyone would be a Nihilist. Most die before they reach it though.
It makes no difference really though. Death without resolution is no disappointment to the already dead.

I suspect all Christians have had doubts at some time. But doubt doesn't invalidate a belief (Christian or atheist).

Doubts are a good thing. You should always explore, if you can, the area of your doubts. This is how you develop better beliefs and develop ones that you can have even more conviction in. Everyone should sharpen their intuitive senses, so they can feel a closer link to the oneness of thie universe. Meditate or pray, do mind-body exercises, eat heathy, don't over indulge, and read or listen to anything inspiring.

No, it doesn't. It just means that they are having trouble accepting everything in their faith at face value, and that is ok, because not everyone who speaks the word in the Lord's name are as honest, etc., as they should be. This can lead to questions, but eventually their spirit and heart should come to understand Jesus' true word and believe in it whole-heartedly.

A true Christian may doubt himself or His salvation at times but never Jesus Christ. As a Christian I have moments of doubt but I always believed deep down in Jesus Christ. There can be no other way.
