print out a copy of this picture and ask for the same hair cut
easy to take care of your hair if it's like this- use a hair wax, gel rub it in your fingers and take smal streaks of hair to shape them individually...

Well considering I cut hair.. I would just want you to just print out that picture and give it to them.. it's a lot easier then trying to go by what you say.
That's a very cool hairstyle too. haha :)
To take care of it, I would say just take a shower.. let it dry just a little bit.. but make sure it's still damp a little and maybe put some gel into it, so that it stays in place. Otherwise if your hair just normally behaves.. then you should be able to just shower and let it dry and maybe just fix a few spots with your hands. It's a pretty average cut. Not too much work! :)

The best thing to do is to print this picture out and hand it over to your hairdresser. It should be pretty easy for him/her, because of experience.
Also, you should ask the hairdresser how to keep your hair the way it is or better. He/she should have some tips. And hairdressers are the best people to talk to about hair! :D

First...I would print and take the picture with me, if your hair is this type and texture, she or he will be able to cut it to look like this. Ask your hairdresser about what kind of gels or mouse's you should use. You can look at the picture and tell there is something put on there to maintain the look. Good luck, the haircut is handsome and I'm sure it would look good on you.

Print the photo and bring it in to your hairdresser. (Or if they have a computer, copy down the web address where they can look at it.)
As a tip: look for the funkiest-looking hairdresser that's working when you go in there and request her/him. They will know exactly what you're going for and will be able to give you tips on how to keep it that way.
