Of course they pay the "right" (i.e. LEGAL) amount of TAX, however, like everyone who is paid large amounts of money, if they have any sense at all, they employ Tax Advisers who will organise their lives to MINIMISE the Tax they are required to pay.

Examples include :-
Spending as few days a possible in UK
Being paid via a Limited Company, Registered in the Cayman Islands etc.
Being self-employed so they can claim all their costs(uniforms, cars, travel costs etc etc)
.. and since Apr 2006, putting the first £250,000 of their wages into their Pension Fund (which gets 100% Tax relief).
