How it is measured? What is the formula used?? Please prescribed the healthy BMI range?

weight in kilograms divided by the square of the height in metres so 85/(1.65)2 = 31.2. Healthy BMI range is said to be about 19 or 20 to 25. Muscular individuals may be also have heigher BMIs but not be considered in the unhealthy range because of the nature of the measure. BMI is intended basically as a rough rule of thumb measure of body fat levels. 25 to 29 is the range referred to as overweight and 30 and above is considered the range for obesity (or being morbidly overweight) subject to the above about body builders, etc. There are also some special rules for minors.

MBI stands fo Body Mass Index
yours is 31
the healthy BMI range is : below 18/5 is thin
18/5 to 24/9 Normal
25 to 29/9 Extra Weight
30 to 34/9 Grade one Fatness
35 to 39/9 Grade 2 Fatness
over 40 Grade 3 Fatness
the formula is: weight in KG devided by( height in meter X height in meter)

BMI stands for body mass index.

Usually, it is calculated using the following formula:

weight in kgs / height in meters * height in meters

so if the person's height is 1.65 m and weight is 85 kgs, his BMI would probably be around 31.22 (i think)

and for a normal individual, a good bmi would be around
18.5 – 24.9

85 divide by 1.65 divide by 1.65 = 31.2 bmi

which is obese
