China

[I just read a similar, kind of tongue-in-cheek question and was taken aback by the unrealistic answers. How can some people think those nations would let this happen to them? That they wouldn't act to protect their citizenry?]

Of course any country is going to react. But I disagree with the part where you say " the not so poor". We have poor here in America for sure. But OUR poor are nothing compared to others poor. Not today anyway. Many of us older persons have seen true poverty. Something many of those under 40 have rarely experienced. So we often get a little testy when our land are breeched.

Illegal immigration reasons many issues that is for certain. That is an indeniable truth. Given your estimate of 20 million illegals permit's continue from there. Let's say even a million/three of them are retaining jobs. That's practically 7 million persons within the body of workers. Contributing to the tax base and many others. That might depart 7 million task vacancies. Would our country be competent to manage that many leaving the body of workers? Probably now not. Would Americans step into those jobs for the pay provided? Probably now not. Companies backside line is benefit. Would they lift wages to get Americans to paintings those jobs? Probably now not. More organizations might start to outsource. Thus leaving many Americans out of jobs that now preserve jobs. Our complete nation might cave in and the Great Depression might seem like a cakewalk. As I've mentioned unlawful immigration is mistaken and demands to give up. But we additionally have to be sensible on deporting as you are saying 20 million persons. Believe me...It's now not going to occur for more than a few explanations. So we ought to transfer ahead and suppose of sensible methods to manage the concern to hand and in addition insure the unlawful concern is stemmed one day. Better border defense and visa procedures have to be looked after first and fundamental so the concern does not regularly worsen. Once the go with the flow is stopped we will then paintings on what to do with the ones already right here.

Well mexico hunts down, robs, rapes, and sometimes murders their immigrants. They are lucky to be deported. Japan would probably be similar, in fact every country on your list would have tanks on their borders w/i 48 hours and have the wagons out rounding people up. For some reason us and the UK are the only ones pussy footing around the issue. Doesnt that send the opposite message bush was trying to make by blowing a bunch of crap up to start with?

Mexico jail illegals from Central America and abuses them very badly. Legal immigrans have very limited rights (such as limited ability to work or own property).

Japan is probably the most xenophobic country in the world. They are extremely racist and foreigners have few rights. Even descendants of people who were brought there as forced labor during WWII (Koreans and Chinese) are considered "foreigners" and have fewer rights than Japanese citizens.

EU countries were pretty open to immigrants, but they are starting to question their policies since a lot of the immigrants aren't assimilating.

I'm not sure about China, not sure why anyone would want to immigrate there, since it looks like China is a place one would want to get away from.

Here's another link on how Mexico treats its illegal aliens, meanwhile criticizing the U.S. for deporting the illegal aliens Mexico sends to the United States. Hypocritical?? YES!!

http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/060815a.aspx

Of course the pro illegal alien criminal supporters ignore facts such as this. They ignore the fact that all countries have the right to enforce their border and immigration laws.

Yet they want to claim the U.S. is so terrible for deporting illegal aliens and U.S. citizens are "racist" for wanting the same for our country!!
