When storing prints make certain you use archival quality pages. If you want to display your prints, have them mounted on archival matt board and then use an archival cut matt (sized to fit your print) to keep the print away from the glass in your frame. Spend a little more and get frames with a UV blocker in the glass.

I always back up my raw data to one CD and then after I have processed them with Photoshop, I back them up on another. I also make extra archive copies and put them in my fire safe. As far as prints go, if you are printing on a pigment based ink jet (like the HP inkjets with Vivera inks), they should last a very long time. They will not fade the way that photos used to. So you can frame them or put them in an album with no worries. Just don't expose them to high heat or direct sunlight.

Either in photos album or put back to your CD-Rom that you have saved.
