When I was a boy growing up in a large family (11 kids) my Father would always make these incredible meals on the weekends. People would show up that weren't even in our family.
Often I would watch as he grabbed a jar of this and a pinch of that and I knew then that being a good cook was like being a really cool artist.
Coking is creating. In a sense it's godlike. It's true there are some horrible cooks out there, but when you're a good cook you can always find a job and definitely impress a girl.
So I vote yes, boys should learn to cook. At least this way you'll never have to worry about whether or not the boy is eating

Yes, this is one of the steps of being independent. Besides, ladies loves a man that can cook.

No, they should remain dependant on the women in their lives forever, if they're lucky enough to find one.
Of course they should learn to cook and clean and do laundry and shop and all the things we all need to do to maintain ourselves. Tackle one thing each month and before you know it they'll be well rounded adults.
If they don't learn these things they WILL be dependant on others, and that's no gift.
A man who feels helpless is not happy and is more likely to stay in unhealthy relationships longer than they should out of fear of having to fend for themselves. The hostility this kind of dependance can create is both unneccessary and dangerous.

Of coarse...Not only girls should learn too cook. Nowadays both male and female should able to do whatever the opposite gender can do. Prove that you can, even with some simple cookings......
