A little backstory:

I work closing night-shift at KFC and while I'm dusting off the carpets outside I find the body of a bird. Calling it a body may be stretching it, there was very little of it left. It was just the feathered wings connected together by bone and tendon. It was however fresh, with bits of pink meat attached to the bones. Next to this was a bone-handled, serrated bread knife.

Several hours earlier, while having a smoke break, I had seen a few limes and smashed guavas lying around the parking lot. I had not yet seen the bird so I made no connection.

Later on, I realize the connection and noticed that the limes were in fact squeezed, making a sparse line of juice around the front of the store. There were also at least a half dozen limes lined up against the parking curb in front of the main restaurant entrance.

Now, I'm not a believer or anything like that, but I am curious as toward the person(s) intentions.

What is this "spell" supposed to do in Voodoo/Hoodoo?

Maybe somebody didn't like KFC chicken and made dinner and a drink?

gosh... usuly i'd be able to give some hint to it. this bafles me. i'll do my best to answer though.

the bird, or whats left of it. from your description i got the vague impression that the body was like 'cut off' and just the wings and connecting bones reamined. so it'd look kinda like this:
;//^^\\;
to me this means flight.

though what if what was left was the part they didn't use? a body with the wings taken off... the inability of flight. being taken out of ones element. separation.

limes: sour and green. hmm... and the circle with the juice.
the circle is where its worked, or where the spell is meant to affect. the left over limes might have been markers of some sort.
the reasons for using limes is excaping me and i'm too lazy to look up their magical properties. it probably doesn't apply anyway because this doesn't sound remotely similar to anything i've worked with, or would want to work with.

i probably left you more confused than when you started. i did my best.

imo killing animals for anything other than food is wrong. also, casting spells on anyone, or anything, without their permission is wrong too.

Lemon (yet in basic terms actual, no longer "fake" lemon flavor) Lime, yet in basic terms in a margarita or my salsa (can no longer STAND fake lime issues) Oranges yet while Ruby Grapefruits are in season, i'm all in favour of them!

Don't know but don't worry about it - it only works against hysterical believers.
