Bible III
think about it, when people started to realise the first bible was bollocks they wrote a new one so the foolish people would stay fooled, nowadays more and more people are realising the bible is kak, so should they write a new one, they could use the story line from the film Dogma for one of the storys, there ya go, i've got it started!
if ya want ya can just make up another story for it, lets see if we cant get a good start on it.
BE QUICK THOUGH, this will prob be violated and removed soon!!!!

Who's THEY?
You missed the very important point that the author of the Bible is not man - it is God. The term is "God-breathed." The Bible is a collection of writings from people that received the "inspired Word" from God. For a few thousand years it was not even written down. It was all oral. Try to pass on a story today and within 3 or 4 tellings the story will be all skewed around. Not so with the Bible. The stories were told for centuries and the story NEVER changed. This should tell you something.
What read today are TRANSLATIONS from all the various languages that the books were told/written in. These translations are from man which is why there are so many different "types" of bibles. If you really want to understand this story - google King James and find out for yourself.

I think that's been tried a few times already. Bible 1.0, upon which Judaism was founded, was largely supplanted by the more wide-reaching and popular Bible 2.0, the basis of Christianity. Catholicism, which originally ran on 2.0, is now streamlining it by taking out some of the really buggy bits. Islam tried to take it in a new direction with Bible 3.0, the Quran. The Latter Day Saints are going off some unauthorized release, maybe Bible 2.1. It's debatable whether any of these was a marked improvement. I agree, its probably time to scrap all of these and try something else.

I love these people who say the word of God never changes, Do they realise that a buch of guys sat around and voted on what books they would put in the bible and their reasoning for selecting some of the books were purley political?
here is a contradiction in the bible for just one example
Genesis 6:7 So the Lord said, I will destroy, blot out, and wipe away mankind, whom I have created from the face of the ground--not only man, [but] the beasts and the creeping things and the birds of the air--for it grieves Me and makes Me regretful that I have made them.
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie,
nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Sounds like he changed his mind to me

Not a good idea.We already have over 50 versions in English alone. And they are all significantly different from each other, and the readers who say their Bible is the only correct translation all give different definitions of who God is.So we already have enough confusion, we don't want to add to it ! Or do we?

God and I are working on writing a new scientific version of the Bible that will supersede all previous religious versions of the Bible as we speak.

You know, in the next century or so, I can imagine a religion springing up using the writings of Carl Sagan as scripture.

smart man!!!
a question for you have you ever heard that Quran has changed a letter or a word since it exist? I do not think so so have a look to it and try to find what you miss in your life and try to take from it just that and if you would like more then just try to read about all and you would change your mind to how you see this world.
