Hmmm - interesting question. Likely not, just as different religions have differeing "heavens" and afterlifes.
My thought is that it could all be the same place, just colored by our expectations. The Norse and Asatru expect a Valhalla, so they get that. Some Christians expect a land of wings, white robes and harps, so they will get that. Native Americans expect a "happy hunting ground" in which life is like it was, game is plentiful, all are at peace, so they will get that. Others expect a summerland - a land of fairies and magic - and they will get that. And others, consciously or unconsciously, expect a hell full of torture and fire and demons, and they will get that expectation fulfilled.
I expect it to be much like life is now, except no need to work for an income, but work because you love to do that work - understand what I mean? So likely I will get that.
Just as god will appear as a voice, a glow, Odin, Brigid, a spagetti monster, your grandma, even a demon, if that is what you expect.
The whole concept of "Many mansions" and "Many rooms in those mansions".

I haven't been a Christian all my life but I started to read the
word of God 37 years ago. Having said that I could go on
and fill up a page or 2 with heaps of scriptures for you to read
but I won't do that. I will give you just a few verses and they are:-
1. John chapter 14 verse 6 "Iam the way, the truth and
the life no man cometh unto the Father but by me."
2. John chapter 5 verse 24 "verily,verily, I say
unto you, He that heareth My word , and believeth on Him
That sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life "
Then I would suggest you get a King James Version Bible
and simply have a word of prayer and ask in your prayer
that God (The Author) give you understanding of His Word.
Then read through the book of John in the New Testament
Please read through carefully and prayerfully the story of
Our Lord Jesus Christ. Why He was born, went to the cross
of Calvary, died and rose again from the dead and ascend-
-ed into Heaven and promised us that He will return and is
coming again to set up His Kingdom on earth.
Yes, there is a hell and not to become a follower of Jesus
Christ will put all unbelievers in hell.
Please take the time to read the BIBLE as it is the BASIC
INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE LEAVING EARTH.
It is a matter of life and death. Eternal life or Eternal
damnation.

Do you mean what do Christians believe? I grew up in a Lutheran school, and I was taught if you don't believe that Jesus is your savior (and hence aren't Christian) that you're going to hell. I had some non-christian friends that I (sadly) tried and tried to convert b/c I was so scared to think of them burning in hell.
We were also taught not to question anything we were taught b/c that was questioning God and would send us to hell... or something along those lines. Basically I was scared into not thinking for myself.
HOWEVER, now that I'm 21 and not going to the same school/church (I'm away at college now) I think that's a load of poo... I can form my own opinions about what the bible says, I don't need someone to tell me what to believe. And I don't believe that my non-christian friends are going to burn in the torturous fires of hell if they don't convert immediately, AND I know that God doesn't get mad at me for using my brain to come up with questions... that's what He gave it to me for!!! So basically I personally believe you should form your own opinion about religion and spirituality, not have someone tell you what to believe. (Unless of course the opinion you form is that someone else should tell you what to believe so that you don't have to think for yourself)
Hope this helps some. :)

hell is just a scare tactic used by christians to try to get you to join their cult. they are supposed to be good people but all they do is threaten anyone who doesn't believe. luckily there is no hell, otherwise your "god" would be there right now for all the harm he caused the world.

I don't really know. I've never been dead. No one's ever come back to tell me.
I believe that this world is not our home. To find our way back there when we die is the trick. Jesus is the way for me. If the Scientologists or Mormans are right, then I'm out of luck.

You only go where your belief's lead you. People who don't believe in hell or heaven don't go there. But the truth is that people just die. There is no heaven or hell. Our "souls" don't exist. Just our bodies. And once those are done living, so are we.
