2. Yahoo uses California time. There are Yahoo users worldwide and you cannot tell from a posting here that it is not necessarily Shabbos where the person is.
3. You are allowed to leave on electrical things that were on when Shabbos began. The rules are that you cannot turn anything on or off during Shabbos, but can turn on something on Friday afternoon and leave it on until after Havdalah. Although actually typing on a computer keyboard is a no-no, the computer power does not have to be off. Further, since it is acceptable to use preset timers to cause lights to go on and off during shabbos and to program something (before Shabbos) to record television shows, it is also acceptable to program a computer to send something to Yahoo on Shabbos, as long as you finish writing it (and programming the delayed send) before Shabbos.

anyways you should at least learn how to ask a question in a nicer manner.. because it just shows what kind of a person you seem to be(which is a sort of a fanatic oppressor), but I'll answer you anyways - only some percent of Israel goes exactly according to the religious rules of the Shabath(which means amognst many other rules no electicity). Israel is much more lightened then you think...
