Last time i checked, al quaida never prosecuted the 19 men who caused 9/11 either.
All jibing aside though, Bush didn't give them immunity. It was negotiated in their SOFA agreement contracts prior to any of this happening. Furthermore, they're not responsible to the UCMJ or Geneva Conventions. If Iraq wishes to prosecute them, they have only to ask for extradition... however, it was Iraq that originally gave them immunity. That's since been rescinded, but we're not going to go back and hand over people because the Iraqi government made what they thought is a poor decision a long time ago (that would be akin to passing a law, then going back and prosecuting everyone who did it before the law was passed)

Man... this is a very good question... and I really have a tough time with figuring out the solution to this. Blackwater's contractors (paramilitary) get paid very well and for the most part are highly trained, highly disciplined former members of the US Military. The lack of accountability is a major problem. Any soldier who's seen real combat knows that there is nothing charming about a war theater. A U.S. soldier is paid very little for the sacrifices he/she makes. The soldier has a chain of command and very clearly defined rules of engagement and moreover his decisions are always subject to adjudication by the US Military Court. Therein lies a huge problem.
The paramilitary contracted men of Blackwater are not mercenaries, per se... after all, they are hired by a US Company to fight for the US. Most of these men are highly sophisticated and do have a great sense of honour and love for their country. They are not subject to criminal adjudication by a military tribunal of the US, nor in the theater in which they serve, and that's a problem that must be addressed.
The appropriations of exorbitant funds for Blackwater, KBR and such contractors is, frankly, appalling and poses an affront to the US soldier on the front line and to the American Tax Payer. Clearly there must be reforms made, quickly to how such outfits operate. Regrettably, without conscription, such paramilitary organizations do or at least should provide a much needed source of assistance to the overly taxed US soldier.
President Eisenhower predicted many years ago that this form of waging war will invariably lead to disastrous consequences. At least we live in a country where we have some access to what is happening or what should be happening, and we can enter discourse about how to change this. This is a freedom than many people in this world don't have, and this is what we sacrifice ourselves, our loved ones, and our friends for so that others can continue to enjoy the freedoms that come at such a high cost.

Blackwater doesn't have immunity from prosecution.
What they have is immunity from the statements they gave to the State Department from being used to prosecute them.
And they would never have made those statements to the State Department without those grants of garity.
But there is no immunity, the FBI or Justice Department is free to file charges, if they found any laws were broken.
Why are you so certain, that Blackwater actually broke any laws ???
No US investigations have been released yet.
And far to many times, we have heard the Iraqi's make false alligations that civilians were killed, when in fact, no civilians were killed.
The reason people don't like Blackwater, is because the owner and his family, support republicans.

stunning question. those Border Patrol brokers could in no way have been delivered to trial. And ring a bell in me lower back what it extremely is, precisely, that Libby did that replaced right into a criminal offense. I propose, all of us understand for a actuality that no person interior the Bush administration 'outted' the already outted Ms. Plame. So what replaced into it? The FBI mandatory a scape goat so as to justify their extensive waste of time in this difficulty.

The answer is no. You only have to look at his track record to see what to expect. The 9/11 terrorist were from Saudi Arabia not Iraq (where his child hood friend is the prince and couldn't stay in power if he didn't support the terrorist). The talliban are against all drugs so he allied up with the drug dealers from the northern alliance and paid them billions while he paid billions in south america to stop drugs! His english buddy from british petroleum renegged on the exclusive alaskan pipe line oil contract for ten years ( not one drop of oil came back to the states) and then renewed his contract!! He's done away with our Bill of Rights. Hes sent our national debt higher than all other presidents combined, Inflation is sky rocketing with no end in sight. He refuses to address our immigration problem and he keeps pointing his fingers at everybody else. I only wish that Bush Sr had known about birth control before it was to late.

Care to post links to the "rotting in prison" troops and border agents mentioned in your rant!!!
Also can you verify your claims about all the (cash) Blackwater will be getting??
The only thing that smells here is your so far unsubstantiated rant.
P.S.
Hey dude thanks for your message;
Hello conranger1 (conranger1),
You have received a message from another user!
From: Mr. M.
Subject: Rant?
Message: "Do the research your self,Of course you believe any thing that would make think you Backed a War Monger ,The truth hurts ,It hurts me too! "
But you still posted no links, so I do not accept your statements, its up to the person making the claims to put up, or shut up.
Also anybody, regardless of who they are, are innocent until proved in a Court of Law to be guilty, as far as I am aware no member of the Blackwater group has been charged or been in court as of yet!!!
The ball is firmly in your court, Mr. M.

Good ole georgie owes his pals at black water a favor for their donations to his campaign. He owes our brave men and women in uniform nothing. It is favoritism at it's worse.
