Every time someone tells me to 'pray to God' or 'God bless' etc I politely tell them that I don't believe in God and I have my own beliefs I get abused and told that 'I should believe in God because when I die I'll go to Hell' and etc.

My next door neighbour yelled out across the hedge the other day 'God loves all his children, just like he loves you. The church doors are always open'.

What if I don't believe in this?

I don't go around telling me to believe what I believe so what on earth gives them the right to abuse me and hassle me about it?

I have morals, I just don't have to believe in Christianity, I can think and do what I like.

Pork Chops- Just because I don't believe in Christianity doesn't mean I don't have beliefs. Is that what they shove down your throat or is it what you've come up with in your schizophrenic head?

Hi.... How 're you?

I'm a muslim. I'm very sorry for you about things that already happened. I'm not the one who can tell you about all that 'God' . But i'm believe in God. Beleving God make sense in my life. Me myself don't know that you're going to hell or not because you are still alive and who will knows your days ahead.

Reigion make me have a reason to live and create a better life because for me there are hereafter waiting me onward.

You have your reason to not believe in God. But at the same time you yourself should know why does a lot of people believe in God. You should search. If you dont satisfy with what you find then you're with what already yours.

Where and who should you search for answer. For me to get respect you just should just meet only the temples, church or mosque leader( Such priest, imam, monk) or their scholar who knows what thier beleives is. I as muslim like to say to you that we do respect your faith. We're compulsory to tell you about Islam but it'is forbidden to force any of you to become a muslim. It's all your choice.

Ok... Have a nice day.

First of all you are generalising, not all religious people or people who belong to a Abrahamic faith will critisize whatever you believe in, those people who do critize you dont know anything about their own faith let alone yours, i can tell you that Christianity, Islam & Judaism does not tell its people to critizise somone because they dont follow the Abrahamic religions, my religion Islam never says insult, critize, abuse etc a person who does not share your faith, even if a non-belive in God insults you then still we should not insult back but only to pray to God to guide them, Islam says if one does not share your faith dont treat him/her any different then how you would treat a fellow Muslim, we are told to respect people of all faith as long they are righteous & good people, you have a right in what you belive, you have a right to make a choice, feel how you want, if people go on at you about your belief then simply ingore them but dont compare them to every other religious person or a person beliveing in an Abrahamic religion, dont go to their level, igore them, let it go, they are the ones with problems, doubt, if there truly knew anything right about their religion they wouldn'nt even look at you in a way which states the obxious, as i said as long a person is good, rightoues, respects other people no matter what faith, gender, age colour, race then respect them back & treat them as your own, even if they dont agree with you & even critize you & your faith but dont critise them for their faith but just let them know how ignorant they are & weak, Peace.

I empathize . Of all the people to dis one for their beliefs
the ones who base unfounded unproved superstitious beliefs are the ones with just enough deluded thinking to want to foist their faith on everyone else . It takes all kinds to make a world but I don't try and stop the faithful from their beliefs and certainly don't use any popular clout to legally restrict them in their beliefs . It does seem a bit unbalanced sometimes so I usually just humor it.

This sort of thing is one of the many attractions to affiliating oneself with the "majority" religion in one's area. It's not about you, it's about them having a supposedly socially acceptible reason to bother and abuse you without reprisal.

This same neighbor would be on the phone to the filth if you reversed the situation and screamed "Gods don't exist!" or "Only idiots whine about Jesus!" every time you saw him.

Most humans seem to engage in a daily battle for one-upmanship, and christianity is a wonderful resource for that personality type.

Christians also see you as a danger for having the intellect and fortitude to stand on your own without a network of lies to support yourself. Religion requires its victims to surround themselves with other people who share their self imposed delusions, and people who are getting along fine with no invisible friend are a walking insult to their fragile state of mind.

My advice? Stop the cockpounder in the middle of one of his rants and calmly explain that if he doesn't try to church you, you won't try to make him think properly...

Not all people can't accept your belief...I respect your choice...
The most important thing that , we (believer or not) can do something good to society or our surrounding..just like i always said..
Be part of the solution , not part of the problems...

Well, just respect them and accept them for who they are. When they say these things to you, just be gracious and thank them but tell them you stand firmly to your beliefs and tell them what you feel. If they are not willing to stop and they continue it, then you just tell them that Christianity is a choice. God gave you a choice to accept or reject. God does not force anyone into being a Christian. Thus, they shouldn't force you because God never force others so His people shouldn’t.

Beliefs are to be held to...they are for the individual, not for anyone else. Don't worry if people accept your beliefs...they are your beliefs not theirs......when your neighbor yells that to you again....answer him back with "GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!" and smile and waive.
