You better tell your mom what exactly happening in your life in a polite friendly way..Moms are always great friends in world than anyone else... They love to see us happy all the time and they understand what we are telling them....

If we go wrong then sure they make their point which we should also try to understand....

hello dear,

as all others have said, I too think you should tell your mother before anybody tells her. But be carefull while you talk, be polite, and just let her know he is your friend first. With the guy don't jump into any conclusion. Be friendly, first give him some time like a year or so if he still has changed or not gone back to his old habits, carry your relation further or else just be a friend. Don't give any chance to your enemy to follow your life.

I think you should tell your mom first off, and if he changed for you, wouldn't that make him fake? People shouldn't be able to change for anybody, because no matter how little or how much somebody changes, it isn't their real self, no matter how upsetting that may be.

Tell your enemy to do something better with her time and to leave your business to YOU, not her.

Wow. Good luck with that one...I am still a little confused.

Are you convinced that the b/f has improved. If so, go to mother before the friend does and tell her yourself. She may make enquiries and if she learns that the boy had indeed change himself she herself would take a lead in bringing you together. However, if there is some doubt about his claim of changing his stripes and it is a case of just yellow-washing the skin better be on your guard. From my experience I tell you there must have been a genuine change in him and your friends eagerness to carry tales maybe due to her eagerness to have that prize catch for herself. It is very rarely you get somebody who changes himself/herself for you.

Do invite that busybody friend of yours for your marriage.

Dear Friend,

First you be confirmed that he has changed his attitude and he is good now. Then frankly speak with your enemy that you like him and he became good for you etc. and request him/her not to tell you mom since you get confirmed that he has changed.

Before you take such serious decisions like marriage or dating and all, please thick for hundred time, because his nature was not good before and he is in process of changing himself now.

According to my knowledge, it is very difficult to change ourselves i.e to leave our attitude which came by birth. It's not showing Cinema here. In cinemas only Anti Heroes will change themselves and become Heroes.

Of course giving a life to somebody is not wrong step. But before that you should be confirmed with his honesty, sincerity etc.

it is time to tell mom, before someone else does. as for change...is he willing to prove himself to your mother/parents that he has changed? to what extent? two years? four years?
how long has the current changes been? afew hours? afew days? afew weeks? a few months? if a guy is noted by the world as bad. i highly doubt that his "changes" for you, are genuinely sincere. he is only trying to win you over. when he does? you will see just how fast...he did not change at all. but good luck!

if you really think you're enemy is going to tell her then tell her first. you should have a open relationship with you're mom and should be able to tell her anything. see what she says, moms are usually right about this stuff anyways mine was I wish I would have listen to her.

Hang on Snoopy. Hang on!

You need to see that his "changed for me"
upgrade will last!

If he stays clean, or gets even better over the next two years, he may be able to win over "the world" and your family.

In any relationship, it takes two whole years to be really sure.

If you act in haste, you will probably regret it.

Well if your enemy is going to tell I dont think there is anything you can do to dissuade them but try anyway. Talking to someone is the only thing you can try.

hopefully you go to church on Sunday's and if you do, have him take you, if he's really changed. and if he's willing to do that, then tell your mom before this other person does. and have your new friend pick you up for mass and invite your mom along.
