Just be very careful. Biblical conversions are not like your experience.
603550 Israelites came out of Egypt, only two (Joshua and Caleb) entered Promised Land (Ps 95, 105, 106, Heb 3&4) - many are called, few chosen. Many though 'believed in the LORD' (eg Exodus 14:31) DID in the end died in unbelief (Heb 3), their carcasses fell in the wilderness. For FORTY YEARS, they ate miraculous manna daily, yet only TWO entered the Promised Land, which is a pattern of their eternal rest (Heb 4)
Out of the whole world, only Noah and family in saved physically in the Ark.
Abraham: Called of God in Genesis 12, exercised faith (Heb 11:8-10) BUT Abraham was NOT IMPUTED righteous until Genesis 15:6 where he was imputed righteous (Romans 4), and was saved. Thus although Abraham exercised faith from Gen12-Gen15:5; he was NOT IMPUTED righteous until v16. That is the point in time Abraham was saved.
It was even more terrifying for Jacob. Email me for answer.
Yes,,,,, the thief on the Cross had 'instant salvation'; but then how many of us are hanging on the cross??????
Yes, two minutes before that experience, one was a pagan; one second after we said our sinner's prayer...........wallah........... we are 'christian'? What saved us - off course the 'Sinner's Prayer". If I didn't say it, I was not saved; but when i say it, I am saved! Many false bastard pastors would then congratulate.... Welcome brother, welcome sister.....

I was nine years old and in church when I suddenly realized what it meant. I listened to what the pastor was saying about living for Jesus and being given a crown when I died and went to heaven if I accepted Him as my savior. I understood about heaven and about hell. I didn't want to go to hell so I decided that Jesus was for me so I accepted Him as my savior right then. Ever since then I haven't wavered in my belief in Him.

That would probably be the toughest question for Christians if they would stand on their conviction or compromise for the perfect gift God has for them and waste all the opportunity to stand on their faith....so sad but it's true!!! Most of the time they choose the world....

Sounds similar to the day I THOUGHT I got saved. But, when you think about it, its all imaginary. Just like God.
