Depending on what the lessons are for, the price appears to be very fair and reasonable. Whatever the case, if you're not getting the lessons, then I would most ascertainly apply myself more and/or advise your instructor that you are not understanding things at the pace they are taking you. They may be going to fast for you ... Don't be afraid to ask questions and to let your instructor know that you need a little more help!

Lessons these days seem to run anywhere from $75.00 per month to $700.00. A lot depends on where or what geographical region, the amount of competition for students and sometimes, but not always, who the instructor is. So while that does not seem bad I would be more concerned with three different instructors each week. If they each come from a different aspect or discipline and you are literally trying to learn three different arts at the same time that can be a little much for someone, especially a beginner. It also leaves little time for practice and for you to develop to your potential in any one of the three and so something is probably going to suffer. If not then I would be concerned about how well they communicate, follow-up, and teach so that techniques or students don't fall through the cracks. Having a couple of different instructors for the same art can be good since one may catch some things the other doesn't, or he presents the same thing differently than the other instructor but yet it is still the same-it just is easier for some students to grasp that did not get it from the other it also requires coordination and communication between them or the students and their training will suffer.

For one on one training that is a good price. I think I paid $20.00 per session for Gracie Jujitsu, 10 years ago, because there was only one guy in the whole city who came out of the Gracie Academy.
At $9.00 per session it will most likely be a group, but that still is not a bad price if its in your budget, and no long term commitment is involved.

$108/mnth ($27 x 4wks) - that's a lot to me. Are you learning 3 different styles? Are they private or group lessons? Do the others train the same time or do they train more? What I mean is that do they train on the days you train with a different sensei?

You should go join the gym. If you want a pretty good workout. $27 is like a one month of membership at the gym. What kinda of lessons are you taking?

3 lessons a week for $27 is cheap. Thats $9 a lesson for someone who has likely spent decades refining his skill to take the time to tutor you.

A "typical" session of any martial art should never, ever exceed $10.00/hr. If we're assuming $9.00/session, and each session is an hour, then I'd say do it.
If possible, though, try to avoid long-term commitments if you don't see yourself there religiously three times per week.
