Yes it's true. They were (8 soldiers)kidnapped last month in an ambush by PKK terrorists and were released in northern Iraq 'n flown back to Turkey.

Very true! The Iraq gov. negotiated their release
and then the US
military transported them back to Turkey.
The US government
applauded Iraq for their efforts in aiding
in their release.
The Turkish soldiers reported they were
treated well by the PKK.
Rebels said the release was an olive branch.

Yes they are all free and in Turkey now. They will meet their families after the routine medical check up. It seems that Barzani has realized Turkey is very serious about this problem.
