how much you make is only part of what it takes to calculate it. The bigger question is "how much did you have withheld?"

my dad doesnt have any withheld... he has to pay at the end of the year.

I have extra paid in.. because i like a bigger refund.

There are also numerous questions that needs to be asked like did you buy a home, are you filing ez... do you have any deductions...

I always got a deduction when i was making around 50,000 in Tennessee... but who knows if your going to get one until you fill out the paperwork and see.

I think you would because they already took a big chunk of money out due to the fact that you claim 1 or 0. You will probably get a small paycheck I believe.

If you want to find out now go to the IRS website with your last paystub and look at the tax brackets is really easy and they even have a tax calculator.

For a Single with no dependent, the federal income tax on $50,000 is $6,736.
So go through your last paycheck stub and find out if you will owe federal tax or will get refund.
