Read Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus. According to the tradgedy, at one point in time each human knew exactly when he or she would die, much like an animal. If you look at donkeys or cats, they seem to know when their time is up and will hide before they die, as though they are ashamed of their own death. Prometheus took away people's knowledge of their time and day of death. Because we do not know when we will die, our potential is limitless. Even though we are aware of our mortality, death remains an abstraction as long as there is not a set deadline hanging over our heads. As long as there is life, there is hope.

No one can tell the future, one can only make the best of the present. Ignoring the here and now and living in time yet to come, is time not living at all.

I don't think we do know.

However, - it is part of life and we have to accept it.

It's not the dying that bothers me, it's just HOW it's going to happen.........x
