The only verse I know that sounds like that is the verse that says that the Spirit will pray for you for things that you don't even know that you should pray for. Is that the verse you are speaking of?

There is a scripture in which a follower of Christ states "I can do all things through Christ, that strengthens me" and another that advises all believers to "pray without ceasing". However, there is NO such scripture written, advising anyone to pray only for what we cannot do ourselves. The book of Matthew, chapter 6 states what Jesus said about prayer: Verse 6 states: "when thou prayest, enter into thy closet and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to the Father which is in secret and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." This means that no one else has any business telling you what to pray for or what not to pray for, unless that person is quoting, directly, from biblical scripture from the words of Jesus Christ.
Secondly, Matthew 6:7 goes on to state: "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathens do; for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."
The bible states in the book of Proverbs, chapter 28, verse 9 that: "He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination".
What this is telling the reader is that if ones prayer is contrary to any of God's commandments or statutes, we should not pray that prayer, as God does not reward sin, anything that is the product of hatred or of disobedience.
One must BE VERY CAREFUL not to believe the doctrines of "men" (heresies) and to follow only the inspired word of God, as IT IS WRITTEN.

I don't see it. Jesus said pray always: "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." (Luke 21:36)
It sounds like you are trying to avoid prayer, to a degree anyway.

I'm not sure, where you are talking, I do know we should always Pray to our Father through Jesus Christ, God already knows our needs, but When we go to God and ask, it is good, We should also pray for others, I also know God wants us to rely on Him, and not think we can do it alone, We need God, WE should never Go and do something, without first asking God if it is right, God knows what is best for us, we can only see so much, God see's it all, Who better to go to.

I can't remember any such verse. Actually, it sounds contrary to us learning to be dependent on God and his ways instead of our own devices.
I am well versed in the Scriptures.

Mat 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Mat 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Mat 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Mat 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Mat 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
