Do you ask questions to raise awareness of an issue or do you just want an answer to your question?

Why do you ask questions? Do you just want your question answered? Have you an environmental issue you want to raise?
Are you using your questions as a way to find alternate opinions or views or more information? Why do you ask questions?

I enjoy different opinions and answers.That opens me to a different line of thought.It is important for me to be aware before I ask others to be aware and take action.

I've been part of this forum for nearly a year, and my use has definitely evolved. Sometimes I'll think of a topic, post it to see if and how it's been asked before, and if it hasn't, I think it's good to give a topic some fresh air and see who's thinking what. Sometimes I just want to see what people are thinking, and sometimes I want more views, more information, because I'm curious by nature.

I see many post out of boredom or just to get attention, but that's not for me.

I used to post a lot in environment -- other and conservation, but lately I've been focusing on global warming because there's so much I don't know there and because I'm trying to figure out how to get past the ignorance and animosity I see surfacing in so many questions and answers. But it's the core group that keeps me here, too many to mention, because every now and then a question brings out something special, something eloquent, and I appreciate how special those moments are.

Sometimes I ask a question to bring attention to a new study or article. Sometimes because I genuinely don't know the answer, but I figure someone like Trevor will. Sometimes because I want someone to explain the thought processes of some people that I don't understand.

I just asked a question on environmental home-buying to get a sense of people's opinions on the matter. I already know my own answer, but essentially, I wanted to get a sense of how many people share my opinion. It's sort of like a survey that no one knows is a survey... although I guess I've just exposed it.

Sometimes I ask questions because I don't know the answer to something and I want to get good answers. Sometimes I get good answers and sometimes I don't but most of the times I do. Sometimes I do have something I want to raise awareness of and try to make it as positive as I can.

regrettably there is no longer lots that would nicely be completed on a huge scale.... they think of they have distinctive personalities because of the fact they act distinctive with their pals than they do with their kin and Borderline is yet another one that is starting to be common. save doing what you're doing and attempt to pass on a splash education right here.... from time to time i'm getting an digital mail from somebody asserting some thing like "you don't be attentive to what you're conversing approximately . i'm BIPOLAR!". they're hopeless.. they % to have Bipolar (or regardless of) and isn't any longer confident otherwise.... maximum persons although take my information and thank me for the little bit of education.... I have asked a couple of questions to look for information. ,

But usually if i asked a question it was to make a point or a statement , hidden in a question.

And i have asked a couple to find out other peoples thoughts
