often read other answers
also to questions that i do not answer my self
it is one way to learn things
And sometimes i want to answer a question and some one else beat me too it with the same answer ,then i do not bother any more ,no point having similar answers unless it is some kind of poll.

Yes, actually, that's one reason I started posting there more frequently. I saw some misinformation being passed along by those with good intentions, and people on all sides grappling with terminology. Also that some practically bury you with info, and that info is sometimes pretty hard to absorb, especially without context.
Plus there just simply isn't enough time to produce good answers to all the questions that interest me. I can spend quite a bit of time on a question, so sometimes taking a peek and giving a thumbs up or two is my way of making a comment without having to put an answer into words.

Oh yeah. I don't have time to read all the questions. When I find one that's interesting I try to read the answers throughly to learn and refine my arguments. I usually only answer if I can add something to the discussion, if the best answer hasn't been posed already. Sometimes I post just to add weight to an argument. I also try to answer the questions of the consistent contributors, if I can.

I read other answers of all views, which I take with a big pinch of salt. When someone references material I will follow it, but I am very disinclined to believe posters unless they have a track record of providing well researched information over time.
If I am unable to answer an interesting GW question, it will often prompt me to do my own research online.

Sometimes it's particularly interesting to read the answers if I can't answer a question myself, because then I learn something.
