Masturbation isn't a problem. Lust is. Are you lusting while you do this? Then you may find it helpful to block out the source. If the internet is a problem then either get rid of it or get a good filter and accountability partner. If it's magazines, stop buying. Movies, stop renting. Train your eyes and let God train your heart. I've known a few men who have spoken with a pastor about this problem and it has helped a lot.
God bless. :)

I'm sorry...I'm not christian either...however...I'm going to help you because I used to be christian/catholic. Stop believing that it's bad because it's not. It will help you learn about your body. There are many strange and screwy rules that religioius people have to live with that will only make you more frustrated and angry with the rest of the world. You are not your parents child..you happen to be their child. Remember what happened to Neo in the move "the Matrix"? You must find the truth for yourself. Even I can't tell you what it is. You already took a step toward the truth by posting here. Peace.
Oh yeah...releasing at least twice a week will help you to maintain healthy testosterone levels.

Hi....just chill out.
Your not sinning, OK.
if you have repented then you are no longer beholden to the law(10 commandments) and nothing you can do is considered a sin. As you are living in the spirit. Fornication on the other hand is forbidden as a vessel of the holy spirit is defied when engaging in fornication.

It's not bad... it's a way to relieve pressure, nothing more or less. If you're doing it while peeping on a neighbor, you might have a problem, but in private with a good imagination or porn, not a problem and NOT bad. :-)

A gentleman name R. M. Petersen of the Mormon Church published a guide some 20 years ago. I'm sure your Mormon neighbors could provide you with a copy. When I read it, it read like a really funny joke.

I'm not sure masturbating is a sin. If you must, do it, better than getting someone knocked up and catching their herpaghonnacyphillaids.

Masturbating is natural. It doesn't make you more or less Christian, so you shouldn't be ashamed of it.

OK, I'm an atheist but I'm going to have to barge in and remind you that masturbation is perfectly normal. It's not adultery, it's not a sin, it's not anything. It's natural and feels good. There's no need to stop. And if you're convinced it's a sin, all you have to do is ask for forgiveness.

masturbating is healthy. it gets bad dead sperm out of your body. it is unhealthy for semen to build up in your body.
if you do not masterbate your body will get rid of the excess semen itself in the form of wet dreams.
