he has been my best friend since we were 8 years, now we are 15, we started dating a year ago, but i was never sure this was gonna work, he used to be my best friend and i dont want this to ruin our friendship

Tell him face-to-face that you no longer want to be a couple because (insert your reasons here). Tell him that it is not negotiable but you do want to stay friends.

that's a tough one. well, is he really into you, like with no thought of ever breaking up?
you have to talk to him. tell him how you feel. btw, what's the reason you want to break it off? tell him you just really want to go back to being best friends. it might be weird at first but my best friends did that and worked out awesome. since you guys have been friends so long, he should understand.

the same thing happened to me and my best friend. we started dating when but it wasnt really working so i told him how i felt and it turned out that he felt the same way. We are even better friends now than we were back then because we have that to joke about.

The only thing that will ever make it right again is letting him know the truth. Guys tend to get over things easily & they don't let things hurt their feelings like us girls do. So just tell him the simplest way you can without hurting his feeligns & im sure he will understand.

dont worry it was just puppy love. it may not be what it once was but at least you know now. sit down and talk to him be honest and let him know he is too important for you to lose as a best friend.
