I'm a "non-theist" currently residing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. I was raised Christian (Lutheran), practiced Buddhism (Nichiren Shoshu) during my college years, gradually gravitated toward agnosticism, flirted briefly with Deism then ultimately decided all religion was just . . . religion.
I am glad to see Muslims posting on R&S - I get tired of all the proselytizing from "fundie" Christians who won't use spell-check.

I am LDS, I converted at 16 after saying the first sincere prayer I had ever said. I asked for guidence as I really felt I was at rock bottem. The next morning the missionaries knocked on my door. I took the lessons, found it was a good fit and thanks to the church I turned my life around. I have never regretted the decision. That was 27 yrs ago.

I am MO sinod Lutheran. My parents were not very outwardly religious, but I occasionally went to a non-denominational Sunday school. From age 18 to 33 I was kind of wandering in and out of churches, but always faithful that God is real. I met my wife, and after the 4th or 5th date of our courtship, she took me to her church. I felt like I had come home. It fit me perfectly, and reinforced my every belief. So, for the record, I was not evangelized, I simply found a church that worked for me, and realized that I had better marry the lady that introduced me to my new home - it was the least I could do for her. Hopefully she never regrets inviting me ;)
Peace brother.

Oh man. This is gonna be long, and where do I start.
I have jewish beliefs, more likely than christian beliefs because Christianity doesn't speak to me like it used to.
I am Wiccan. I follow the Greek, Egyptian and Norse pantheons.
I also practice a bit of theistic satanism...Even though I'm not so sure if I believe in Satan either. I know, it doesn't make much sense. :P
Abrahamic faiths...all of them...may not fit me because the god worshipped in those religions to me is a murderous tyrant. So...yeah.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (most commonly referred to as "Mormons").
In actuality, the term "Mormons" is now accepted as a term of endearment. Back in the days of Joseph Smith (mid 1800s), the term was actually used in a negative manner (e.g., "oh look, it's those Mormons again!" or "lets go beat up those Mormons!").
The proper name for members of the Church is "Latter-Day Saints."

I'm baptist, a division of christianity, I was raised in a baptist home. However my chruch never taught us that jesus was God, jehovah, or allah, whatever you want to call him. We were taught that he was the messenger or prophet to god. Like moses is judiasm's messenger and mohammad is muslims.
