If we bomb Iranian nuclear facilities, the radioactive cloud similar to the one that emerged after the Chernobyl disaster would probably appear and make many people in the world sick - sckin cancer, thyroid cancer, breast cancer, etc. Is it possible to avoid getting sick?

If we blow up nuclear facilities, people will get sick, its inevitable. The same thing happened in Iraq when we blew up Ammo dumps that gave off radioactivity, my dad is suffering from it still today(Dstorm, Dshield, Dcalm vet.)

I am not in favor of bombing Iran, but the answer to you question is that there would not be a large danger from radioactive material like Chernobyl. As reactors operate they produce large amounts of radioactive isotopes of iodine, strontium and other elements that are incorporated into the body causing long term biological damage. Since the facilities in Iran are not a reactor that has been in operation, the only radioactive material present would be Uranium which is not nearly as dangerous.

Well, we already know about that potential problem. There are ways to avoid it, such as don't bomb the actual facility.

And why does Iran need a nuclear 'power' plant? They have ample space and funding for soar, and wind turbine power production.

If they only want the 'power' plant for electricity, then find other methods. That way they can show the world how to play nice while thinking of the environment.

Even if the U.S attacks Iran, they will not use a nuclear bomb. They would just use the F-16 and B-52 bombers, although Iran can probably resist the B-52 bomber.

A nuclear explosion in Iran will not affect any US territory because the cloud will disintegrate over great distances.

There is no certainty that the U.S. will attack Iran, unless you have access to inside information? (and I doubt if G.W.B. and the War Staff talk to kids like you) and if they do,you do you should not be blabbing about it here :-P

And depending on wind currents there is no guarantee that contamination will not get back to the U.S.A. for ye shall reap what you sow!!!

Except Chernobyl was contained, and did not have worldwide effects. They would have little difference.

Even if there are effects, aren't they better than Iran getting a real nuke and really nuking a US city?

That will have to ask those neighbouring countries.

By then will know the mystery of "All Blacks"
What do you think?

Your premise is exactly why it is foolish - and even more inhumane - to wait until the Iranians kick up their Iranian production.
