Good question. May I be dramatic? If you get a chance, go up to see the sculture at Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA. It is located in the area just right of the statue of David. It is called "The Mystery of Life". You will never get a better and more dramatic answer than that. Let art do its work.

Oh yes the meaning of life...
Well you can look at it in two ways

-[1]]-If when you ask this question you are referring to the meaning of life in our current day and age, the answer is of course simply... to prosper. Surviving in todays modern world requires but only one thing, money. This essentially means that the purpose of our lives is to survive.

-[2]]-Oh or did you mean why were we put here on this planet?
Why are are there planets, galaxies, the universe?
Why are there beings of such curiosity, put here only to ponder there own existance?
Well then the reason is obviously to die.
People just live there days, fufilling needs and pleasures only to have one destiny... death.

-or maby there is no meaning. How can you ask a question, that may have so many answers to so many people... it all depends on that persons perspective of life. Well you cant, because any answer that everyone gives is just as right as the next persons.

Go on, live your life because only when you die will you find the real meaning :]

*ADDITIONALLY* - God nor anything based around an almighty omnipower cannot obviously be true, because of the fact that God is just an excuse to help people sleep better at night knowing that our bodies are acually going to expire, along with all those thoughts and ideas of an omnipotent power rescueing your soul.
Unclear to you?? Then watch...

"Yeah, I've had a team working on this over the past few weeks, and what we've come up with can be reduced to two fundamental concepts. One: People aren't wearing enough hats. Two: Matter is energy. In the universe there are many energy fields which we cannot normally perceive. Some energies have a spiritual source which act upon a person's soul. However, this "soul" does not exist ab initio as orthodox Christianity teaches; it has to be brought into existence by a process of guided self-observation. However, this is rarely achieved owing to man's unique ability to be distracted from spiritual matters by everyday trivia."

Life on Earth is so that we can experience what it's like to have a body with matter and stuff and to show our eternal Love using our bodies and minds.

In the eternal spirit world, the meaning of life is Love.

are you asking for the meaning of life or the "purpose"?
we are alive because God created us.
we are mortal because God has declared that we need to be TESTED in the ways of spirit and faith. We have mortal bodies that will one day become incorruptible and eternal resurrected bodies.
so in essence we are here to be tested for faith and righteousness and then to obtain this body in the resurrection.

It doesn't have one. Life is extrinsically meaningless and purposeless.

Because, however, we are self-aware, we may ascribe any meaning we like to it however, at least intrinsically.

GOD CREATED MAN-KIND FOR HIS GLORY!!!...We were made to glorify our creator......to bring him glory!!!
Does man-kind do that? No!!! man mostly brings Satan glory....Man doesn't do what brings his creator glory.....Men are evil and wicked.....Man takes glory in dishonoring his creator..... He laughs at his desires for us. He spits in his face. He crushes his Son he sent to save us......
He mocks him by what he does with his body......Guess who will get the last laugh???? The creator.......Hahahahahhahahah Don't mock God.
