Is Satan ever mentioned by that name anywhere in the old testament?

Yes, he is referred to as Satan in 1 Chronicles 21:1, in the book of Job, and in Zechariah 3:1-2.

Yes; 1Ch. 21:1;, Job. 1:6-12 & 2:1-7;, Ps 109:6;, Zec3:1-2;. Also, there is names mentioned,- Sammael;, Hallel;, but I aint gon look em up now . Suggest you go to ANGELS, on line. You will see that these are more to do with 'titles', and not nesisarily a name, till you look up ANGELS.

Isaiah 14:12
A name used of Satan- "Lucifer," or "morning star"- comes from this verse. The word Lucifer refers to Venus, one of the brightest objects in the sky. Yet, when the sun rises, the light of even the brightest morning star is totally eclipsed.

Let's do be clear about Satan.

He isn't the devil. He's God's lawyer, more specifically, God's prosecuter. It's his job to play 'devil's advocate' and to say things that ought not to be said. And he is called ha-Satan. No need to be frightened of him. ha-Satan is still under the control of God's will. Book of Job is frightening and yet so cool.

Satan is NEVER mentioned by name and specified as Satan. Some think Lucifer and Satan are the same, but that idea is not in the Bible writings.
