Neither. If either one of them did, then our purpose in life would be in vain. Our purpose on the Earth is to be an instrument for God by our actions in the similar to the way that Jesus did.
Jesus is one of the messengers of God to give examples of what God is capable of doing through Him. He doesn't need my soul, He's got his own. But I can teach others about Him through my own actions.
Satan wants our souls, but can never have them because he can only have his own. He's just a bitter old soul with no power except power which is falsely perceived to given to him. To say that Satan can own your soul, is to assume that he is a higher power than yourself--which he is not because he was never given a body.

Jesus because He died for me, arose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, sat at the right hand of God, our father and called me out of Satan's darkness and into his marvelous light. He owns my soul because I choose Him, I confess my sins to Him and turn away from repeating them, I believe in Him, I hear His doctrines and I obey Him, I am baptized with Him, I trust Him and I adore Him. He knows me and He loves me and all of these facts are WRITTEN.

If there is such thing as a soul.. I own mine..If I had to choose between god or satan...not jesus and god..umm..with the corruption of humans adaptation of christianity.. I'd go with satan..totally.. hard to explain really.. I'm mainly agnostic don't believe in either completely.. if god rocked in the past.. humans have proven there is evil..by turning god and good into a way to make money,rape, and kill....etc etc
not to mention the theory of satan being the good buy...and the story being ****** up and twisted..

Lol-neither. There's absolutely no reason to believe the NT character of Satan exists and extremely unreliable info on Jesus' existence.
If I do have a soul, no one 'owns' it, or has any reason to want to, but I assume it would be evolving as I experience each event in my life.

And if a man is not born again before he suffers physical death, he cannot escape the hold death, satan has on his soul.
I was born again at the age of fifteen. I give my soul to Jesus willingly. He died so I could live.

During my high school years, I nearly died. I was in a Diabetic Coma and after that time I just "knew" that there was a GOD. My wife and I were married and about ten or twelve years later we had a Bible Study with a close friend of my parents. At the end of that Bible Study we both decided that it was time for us to become Christians. We have been a member of the LORD'S FAMILY from that time on. I pray that we will always be faithful to our GOD and FATHER! Have a wonderful week.
