These people don't think so:

"Pat Robertson (very conservative Christian leader) 'It is getting hotter and the ice caps are melting and there is a build up of carbon dioxide in the air. We really need to do something on fossil fuels.”
Ford Motor Company CEO William Clay Ford, Jr. "I believe there is now more than enough evidence of climate change to warrant an immediate and comprehensive - but considered - response. Anyone who disagrees is, in my view, still in denial."
"The science of global warming is clear. We know enough to act now. We must act now."
James Rogers, CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.

It is a measurable fact the earth is getting warmer. The only theory that at present that can account for the timing and more or less the amount of warming is the burning of fossil fuels, and the warming was predicted before it happened. This is enough to convince most scientist that the probability of man made climate change is high enough to take some corrective actions. We went to war with Iraq and are spending a trillion dollars with less evidence of WMD.
The environmentalist movement is using these facts to push their agenda, and the right is denying these facts to push their agenda. and there is even a group of tax cutters that are using it to advocate cutting income taxes and raising the gas tax to unburden the rich.
Economist, radio talk show host, and most people that talk about the issue do not have a clue, so if you want to know the facts read what the climatologist are saying. There is a range of views about how damaging the warming trend will be.

Absolutely!
Global Warming is a scare tactic used by the left to control you…control what you can buy, what you can drive, and thus taxing you extra when you decide to not buy what they want you to buy.
If anybody truly believes Al Gore's propaganda film, they should be ashamed of themselves. Do the research yourself and be objective when doing your research. Once you have seen both sides of the argument, you will find that mankind has almost zero affect on the global temperature increase.
Oh, and don't believe what you hear about a consensus of scientists who believe in Global Warming. Fact is, over 50% of credible scientist agree that man is a very small part of the Global "Climate change" equation.
I will be laughing at all of you Global Warming advocates 20 years from now just like my parents and Grandparents were laughing and the "Global Cooling" advocates of the 70's

and impose more rules and restrictions for the average person on the street, and spend money on useless projects to protect the environment (not for the kick backs, of course!), to sound important by making sensationalist docu dramas to panic the populace......
the list goes on.
