If someone likes you, then that means that they don't mind your company & considers you to be a friend/buddy. If someone has a crush on you, that means that they want more than friendship & wouldnt mind taking it to the next level, like a girl/boyfriend.

They are the same thing. I mean in a crush and in liking someone you might just light how they look, wear their clothes, or even talk. Maybe like that they are a funny person. But up until you go over as ask them out, so you can officially get to know them better, then you are still in that crushing/liking them from a distance phase. The asking them out may or may not open the door to a relationship with that person. And if you are lucky love even. But not always.

Hai i do not know the exact meaning for this two but my opinion is like this, I think crush is an attraction to any person by their outward appearance where you never know the person much and only you would have had an eye contact. But in the case of liking you know the person very much and you may be liking that person because of some qualities that you appreciate in that person. When considering both the crush is not a lasting one but liking to some extent is a lasting one.

I'm not sure there is a difference, but I suppose a crush can be considered to be a little more superficial. some1 saying they have a "crush" on you means they think you are cute and wanna hook up. Some1 saying that they "like" you might mean they have noticed something more specific about you that they have become attracted to, i think i would rather here some1 say they "like" me than have a crush, just an opinion though.

Nothing really other than if someone has a crush on you it tends to be more of a secretive thing. Liking someone is sort of more obvious. A crush is something that you might keep to yourself.

Liking is more of a conscious choice...still slightly compulsive and uncontrolled but based more off of respect (which u choose based on ur opinion on the person)
A crush is practically 100% uncontrolled, compulsive, and definitely a subconscious choice (i should kno i've had a crush on a bunch of jerks)

I think they are almost the same but in the crush part you have this affection on someone while in like is something you like in someone but not actually have affection. correct me if im wrong. pretty hard to explain. sometimes you like a person of being a friend or something like that. pretty hard question.

I'd agree with the person above about crush-- it's like an infatuation, mainly based on looks...
However, like is more like a smaller form of love... I mean, it's when you have true feelings for a person and its mainly there personality that appeal to you.

If you want to get technical someone that likes you, finds you interesting to hang out with, finds you attractive, generally enjoys your company. Someone with a crush on you is objectifying you, and doesn't see you as a whole person.
