if she likes you and you make her happy, that's really all parents care about, as long as you're not getting her into trouble or anything. their daughter is important to them, so they'll want to get to know you, so try talking about some of the activities you're involved in, or your hobbies. as for things not to talk about, avoid talking about things like drinking, drugs, or sex, and don't curse. also make sure you give her dad a firm handshake and look him in eye, and try complimenting her mom (nice house, good food, whatever...).

Don't worry about the age difference at this point. When you meet her parents, make eye contact and deliver a firm handshake. Answer in complete sentences but also take interest in what they have to say, even if you don't completely agree with them. You'll do fine. Steer clear of religion and politics. Sports might be a good topic, but if her daddy likes a team you hate, don't point it out.

5 months is nothing, many couples/marriages are a few YEARS apart. Without knowing the parents, how can you know what to discuss? Just be polite and respectful and should be well.

What's five months between friends? If you have a problem with being heavy, it doesn't mean others will, however since it is bothering you why don't you take advantage of this time, get in shape so you can do more with your girlfriend and feel better about yourself....
Good Luck!

One tip parents never like the person there daughter is dating. Parents are really anoying when they come on dates with you and your girlfriend. Once I went shopping with my GF and her parents had to come along. They distroyed the whole date. They said things were to expensive even though
I was buying it.

Don't worry she likes you and her parents will too.
With her parents discuss your plans for the future, colleges or careers. Also how much you admire their daughter's intelligence.
Do not tell them their little girl is a potential sex object. Don't talk about sex or flirt in front of them at all.
