Shouldn't be more than 20 hours. That makes for a 60 hr work week and for salaried employees their pay is based on 40 hr work weeks and companies take unfair advantage when they work 60 hrs.For hourly wage people it is a little better but that makes for exhausted employees and the quality of work drops. It is more beneficial to employers to have happy well rested employees. Than employees about to fall on their face from exhaustion.

My older brother puts in 40 hours a week of regular time and 30 to 40 hours of overtime every week and is on call for needed stuff where he works. He is now a vice president of his company but still gets his hands 'dirty' now and then when they need extra help. And he is still hourly too so his paycheck is huge.

When I was young and foolish; as opposed to now when I'm older but still foolish sometimes; I worked 80 hours a week on one job and worked about 26 hours a week on a second job.

I don't recommend 106 hours a week to anyone.
